Then the year 354 AH began
وَفِيهَا تُوُفِّيَتْ أُخْتُ مُعَزِّ الدَّوْلَةِ، فَرَكِبَ الْخَلِيفَةُ فِي طَيَّارَةٍ، وَجَاءَ إِلَيْهِ فَعَزَّاهُ، فَقَبَّلَ مُعِزُّ الدَّوْلَةِ الْأَرْضَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، وَشَكَرَ لَهُ سَعْيَهُ إِلَيْهِ، وَصَدَقَاتِهِ عَلَيْهِ.
Translation
✧ In it, the sister of Muʿizz al-Dawlah died. The Caliph rode in a boat and came to him to offer condolences. Muʿizz al-Dawlah kissed the ground before him and thanked him for his coming to him and for his kindness to him.
