Then the year 351 AH began
وَفِيهَا فِي شَوَّالٍ، أَسَرَتِ الرُّومُ أَبَا فِرَاسِ بْنَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ حَمْدَانَ مِنْ مَنْبِجَ، وَكَانَ مُتَقَلِّدًا لَهَا، وَلَهُ دِيوَانُ شِعْرٍ جَيِّدٍ.
Translation
✧ In it, in Shawwāl, the Byzantines captured Abā Firās b. Saʿīd b. Ḥamdān from Manbij, and he was its governor, and he has a collection of excellent poetry.
