Then the year 351 AH began
فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ فِي رَبِيعٍ الْأَوَّلِ، أَرْسَلَ الْأَمِيرُ مَنْصُورُ بْنُ نُوحٍ، صَاحِبُ خُرَاسَانَ وَمَا وَرَاءَ النَّهْرِ إِلَى بَعْضِ قُوَّادِهِ الْكِبَارِ، وَاسْمُهُ الْفَتَكِينُ يَسْتَدْعِيهِ، فَامْتَنَعَ، فَأَنْفَذَ إِلَيْهِ جَيْشًا، فَلَقِيَهُمُ الْفَتَكِينُ فَهَزَمَهُمْ، وَأَسَرَ وُجُوهَ الْقُوَّادِ مِنْهُمْ، وَفِيهِمْ خَالُ مَنْصُورٍ.
Translation
✧ In this year, in Rabīʿ al-Awwal, the amīr Manṣūr b. Nūḥ, ruler of Khurāsān and Transoxiana, sent to one of his senior commanders, whose name was al-Fatakīn, summoning him, but he refused. He dispatched an army against him, and al-Fatakīn met them and defeated them, capturing their leading commanders, among them Manṣūr's maternal uncle.
