Then the year 350 AH began
وَفِي شُبَاطٍ: جَاءَ بَرَدٌ بِنَوَاحِي قُطْرُبُّلَ وَبِإِزَائِهَا فِي الْجَانِبِ الشَّرْقِيِّ، فِي كُلِّ بَرَدَةٍ أُوقِيَّتَانِ وَأَكْثَرُ، وَقُتِلَ الطُّيُورُ وَالْبَهَائِمُ.
Translation
✧ In Shubāṭ: hail came in the districts of Quṭrubbul and opposite it on the eastern side; in each hailstone were two ounces or more, and birds and beasts were killed.
