Then the year 349 AH began
وَفِيهَا فِي آخِرِهَا تُوُفِّيَ أَنُوجُورُ بْنُ الْإِخْشِيدِ صَاحِبُ مِصْرَ، وَقَامَ بِالْأَمْرِ بَعْدَهُ أَخُوهُ عَلِيٌّ.
Translation
✧ And in it, at its end, Anūjūr b. al-Ikhshīd, ruler of Egypt, died, and after him his brother ʿAlī took charge of the affair.
