Then the year 343 AH began
وَفِي سَنَةِ ثَلَاثٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ: خَطَبَ صَاحِبُ خُرَاسَانَ لِلْمُطِيعِ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ خَطَبَ لَهُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ، فَبَعَثَ إِلَيْهِ الْمُطِيعُ اللِّوَاءَ وَالْخِلَعَ.
Translation
✧ In the year 343 AH, the ruler of Khurasan delivered the Friday sermon in the name of al-Muṭīʿ, whereas he had not done so for him previously. So al-Muṭīʿ sent him the banner and robes of honor.
