Tarikh (al-Tabari) 4100
Then the year 342 AH began
Translation
✧ In it (this year), messengers whom the Caliph had sent to Khurasan returned to arrange peace between Rukn al-Dawlah and Nuh, the ruler of Khurasan. When they reached Hulwan, Ibn Abi al-Shawk came out against them with his Kurds, plundered them and plundered the caravan that was with them, and took the messengers captive, then released them. Muʿizz al-Dawlah sent an army to Hulwan, and they fell upon the Kurds, set the country in order there, and returned.
