Then the year 338 AH began
وَفِيهَا فِي رَبِيعٍ الْآخَرِ، مَاتَ الْمُسْتَكْفِي بِاللَّهِ فِي دَارِ السُّلْطَانِ ، وَكَانَتْ عِلَّتُهُ نَفْثَ الدَّمِ.
Translation
✧ In it, in Rabīʿ al-Ākhir, al-Mustakfī bi-llāh died in the palace of the sultan; his illness was spitting of blood.
