Then the year 334 AH began
[وَفِي صَفَرٍ: أُدْخِلَ مِنَ السَّوَادِ رَجُلٌ يُعْرَفُ بِابْنِ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ يَقْطَعُ الطَّرِيقَ وَيَقْتُلُ، فَشَهَرَ عَلَى جَمَلٍ فَقَتَلَهُ الْعَامَّةُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَصِلَ إِلَى دَارِ السُّلْطَانِ].
Translation
✧ [And in Ṣafar: a man known as Ibn Abī ʿAlī, who was a highway robber and murderer, was brought in from the Sawād. He was paraded on a camel, and the common people killed him before he reached the Sultan's palace].
