Then the year 334 AH began
فَمِنَ الْحَوَادِثِ فِيهَا: أَنَّهُ فِي الْمُحَرَّمِ لَقَّبَ الْمُسْتَكْفِي بِاللَّهِ نَفْسَهُ إِمَامَ الْحَقِّ، وَضَرَبَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى الدَّنَانِيرِ وَالدَّرَاهِمِ، فَكَانَ يُخْطَبُ لَهُ بِلَقَبَيْنِ: إِمَامِ الْحَقِّ، وَالْمُسْتَكْفِي بِاللَّهِ.
Translation
✧ Among the events in it: In al-Muḥarram, al-Mustakfī bi-Allāh entitled himself Imām al-Ḥaqq (the Imam of Truth), and had that struck on the dinars and dirhams. He was then addressed in sermons by two titles: Imām al-Ḥaqq and al-Mustakfī bi-Allāh.
