Then the year 332 AH began
وَفِيهَا عَرَضَ لِتُوزُونَ صَرَعٌ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ لِلسَّلَامِ، وَالنَّاسُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَقَامَ ابْنُ شَيْرَزَادَ وَمَدَّ فِي وَجْهِهِ مَا سَتَرَهُ عَنِ النَّاسِ، فَصَرَفَهُمْ وَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ قَدْ ثَارَ بِهِ خُمَارٌ لَحِقَهُ.
Translation
✧ In this year, Tūzūn suffered an epileptic seizure while he was sitting to receive greetings, with the people before him. Ibn Shīrzād stood up and stretched something across his face to conceal him from the people, then dismissed them and said: "A hangover has seized him."
