Then the year 332 AH began
وَفِيهَا قَبَضَ سَيْفُ الدَّوْلَةِ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَنَالَ التُّرْجُمَانِ بِالرَّقَّةِ وَقَتَلَهُ، وَسَبَبُ ذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ قَدْ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ وَاطَأَ الْمُتَّقِيَ عَلَى الْإِيقَاعِ بِسَيْفِ الدَّوْلَةِ.
Translation
✧ In it Sayf al-Dawlah b. Ḥamdān seized Muḥammad b. Yanāl al-Turjumān in al-Raqqah and killed him. The reason for that was that it had reached him that he had agreed with al-Muttaqī to bring about Sayf al-Dawlah's downfall.
