Then the year 332 AH began
وَفِيهَا فِي جُمَادَى الْأُولَى غَلَتِ الْأَسْعَارُ فِي بَغْدَاذَ حَتَّى بِيعَ الْقَفِيزُ الْوَاحِدُ مِنَ الدَّقِيقِ الْخُشْكَارِ بِنَيِّفٍ وَسِتِّينَ دِرْهَمًا، وَالْخُبْزُ الْخُشْكَارُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَرْطَالٍ بِدِرْهَمٍ.
Translation
✧ In that year, in Jumādā al-Ūlā, prices rose in Baghdād so much that a single qafīz of coarse flour was sold for over sixty dirhams, and three raṭls of coarse bread for a dirham.
