ذِكْرُ عِدَّةِ حَوَادِثَ وَفِيهَا قَدِمَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ طَاهِرٍ مَدِينَةَ السَّلَامِ، فَتَلَقَّاهُ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْمَأْمُونِ وَالْمُعْتَصِمُ، وَسَائِرُ النَّاسِ. وَقَدِمَ مَعَهُ بِالْمُتَغَلِّبِينَ عَلَى الشَّامِ كَابْنِ [السَّرْجِ، وَابْنِ] أَبِي الْجَمَلِ، [وَابْنِ] أَبِي الصَّقْرِ.
Translation
✧ Mention of several events. In this year, ʿAbd Allah b. Ṭāhir arrived at the City of Peace (Baghdad). He was met by al-ʿAbbās b. al-Maʾmūn, al-Muʿtaṣim, and the rest of the people. With him came those who had seized control of Syria, such as Ibn [al-Sarj, Ibn] Abī al-Jamal, [and Ibn] Abī al-Ṣaqr.
