The Year 209 AH
وَفِيهَا تُوُفِّيَ مَلِكُ الرُّومِ مِيخَائِيلُ بْنُ جُورْجِسَ، وَكَانَ لَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ، فَمَلَّكُوا عَلَيْهِمُ ابْنَهُ تَوْفِيلَ بْنَ مِيخَائِيلَ.
Translation
✧ In this year died the king of the Byzantines, Michael son of George. He had ruled over them for nine years, and they made his son Theophilus son of Michael king over them.
