The Year 206 AH
فَمِنَ الْحَوَادِثِ فِيهَا الْمَدُّ الَّذِي غَرِقَ مِنْهُ السَّوَادُ وَكَسْكَرُ وَقَطِيعَةُ أُمُّ جَعْفَرٍ، وَقَطِيعَةُ الْعَبَّاسِ فَذَهَبَتْ غَلَّاتٌ كَثِيرَةٌ، وَامْتَلَأَتِ الْآبَارُ، وَفَسَدَ الزَّرْعُ، وَوَقَعَ الْجَرَادُ وَالْيَرَقَانُ.
Translation
✧ Among the events in it was the flood by which the Sawād, Kaskar, the Qaṭīʿah of Umm Jaʿfar, and the Qaṭīʿah of al-ʿAbbās were inundated. Much produce was lost, the wells became full, the crops were ruined, and locusts and rust appeared.
