ذِكْرُ عِدَّةِ حَوَادِثَ وَفِيهَا وَثَبَتَ الرُّومُ عَلَى مَلِكِهِمْ مِيخَائِيلَ ، فَهَرَبَ وَتَرَهَّبَ، وَكَانَ مَلَكَ نَحْوَ سَنَتَيْنِ، وَمَلَكَ بَعْدَهُ أَلْيُونُ الْقَائِدُ. وَكَانَ فِي الْمَوْصِلِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ اسْتَعْمَلَهُ الْأَمِينُ.
Translation
✧ Mention of several events In this year the Byzantines rose up against their king Michael, and he fled and became a monk. He had reigned for about two years, and after him Leo the commander became king. In Mosul was Ibrāhīm b. al-ʿAbbās, whom al-Amīn had appointed as governor.
