وَحَجَّ بِالنَّاسِ الرَّشِيدُ، وَقَسَمَ بِالْحَرَمَيْنِ عَطَاءً كَثِيرًا وَكَانَ عَلَى مَكَّةَ وَالطَّائِفِ: عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ قُثَمَ، وَعَلَى الْكُوفَةِ: مُوسَى بْنُ عِيسَى وَعَلَى الْبَصْرَةِ وَالْبَحْرَيْنِ وَالْيَمَامَةِ وَعُمَّانَ وَالْأَهْوَازِ وَفَارِسَ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، وَكَانَ عَلَى خُرَاسَانَ: الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الطُّوسِيُّ، وَعَلَى الْمَوْصِلِ: عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ.
Translation
✧ Al-Rashīd led the people in the pilgrimage, and he distributed abundant gifts in the two Holy Sanctuaries. Over Makkah and al-Ṭāʾif was ʿAbd Allāh b. Qutham, over al-Kūfah was Mūsā b. ʿĪsā, over al-Baṣrah, al-Baḥrayn, al-Yamāmah, ʿUmmān, al-Ahwāz, and Fāris was Muḥammad b. Sulaymān b. ʿAlī, over Khurāsān was al-Faḍl b. Sulaymān al-Ṭūsī, and over al-Mawṣil was ʿAbd al-Malik.
