Then the year 157 AH began

وَحَجَّ بِالنَّاسِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَكَانَ عَلَى مَكَّةَ، وَقِيلَ كَانَ عَلَيْهَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، وَعَلَى الْأَمْصَارِ مَنْ ذَكَرْنَا.

Translation

✧ Ibrāhīm b. Yaḥyā b. Muḥammad b. ʿAlī b. ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿAbbās led the people in the pilgrimage. He was over Makkah, and it was said that ʿAbd al-Ṣamad b. ʿAlī was over it. Over the cities were those we have mentioned.
