Then the year 157 AH began
ثُمَّ دَخَلَتْ سَنَةُ سَبْعٍ وَخَمْسِينَ وَمِائَةٍ فِيهَا بَنَى الْمَنْصُورُ قَصْرَهُ الْمُسَمَّى بِالْخُلْدِ فِي بَغْدَادَ، وَكَانَ الْمُسْتَحِثَّ فِي عِمَارَتِهِ أَبَانُ بْنُ صَدَقَةَ، وَالرَّبِيعُ مَوْلَى الْمَنْصُورِ.
Translation
✧ Then the year 157 AH began. In it, al-Manṣūr built his palace called al-Khuld in Baghdād. The ones who urged on its construction were Abān b. Ṣadaqah and al-Rabīʿ, the mawlā of al-Manṣūr.
