Then the year 155 AH began
وَفِيهَا عُزِلَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَاسْتُعْمِلَ عَلَيْهَا عَمُّهُ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ . وَكَانَ عَلَى مَكَّةَ وَالطَّائِفِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ( وَعَلَى الْكُوفَةِ عَمْرُو بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ )، وَعَلَى الْبَصْرَةِ الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَعَلَى مِصْرَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَعَلَى إِفْرِيقِيَّةَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، وَعَلَى الْمَوْصِلِ خَالِدُ بْنُ بَرْمَكٍ، وَقِيلَ: مُوسَى بْنُ كَعْبِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الْخَثْعَمِيُّ.
Translation
✧ In this year, al-Ḥasan b. Zayd b. al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī was dismissed from [the governorship of] al-Madīnah, and his paternal uncle ʿAbd al-Ṣamad b. ʿAlī was appointed over it. Muḥammad b. Ibrāhīm was over Makkah and al-Ṭāʾif, ʿAmr b. Zuhayr over al-Kūfah, al-Haytham b. Muʿāwiyah over al-Baṣrah, Muḥammad b. Saʿīd over Miṣr, Yazīd b. Ḥātim over Ifrīqiyyah, and Khālid b. Barmak over al-Mawṣil—or, it is said, Mūsā b. Kaʿb b. Sufyān al-Khathʿamī.
