Then the year 153 AH began
وَحَجَّ بِالنَّاسِ هَذِهِ السَّنَةَ الْمَهْدِيُّ، وَكَانَ أَمِيرَ مَكَّةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَأَمِيرَ الْمَدِينَةِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، وَأَمِيرَ مِصْرَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَكَانَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ عَلَى الْيَمَنِ فِي قَوْلِ بَعْضِهِمْ، وَعَلَى الْمَوْصِلِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ.
Translation
✧ Al-Mahdī led the people in the pilgrimage this year. The governor of Makkah was Muḥammad b. Ibrāhīm, the governor of Madinah was al-Ḥasan b. Zayd, and the governor of Egypt was Muḥammad b. Saʿīd. Yazīd b. Manṣūr was over Yemen according to the statement of some of them, and over Mosul was Ismāʿīl b. Khālid b. ʿAbd Allāh b. Khālid.
