Then the year 151 AH began
قَالَ ابْنُ جَرِيرٍ: وَفِيهَا جَدَّدَ الْمَنْصُورُ لِنَفْسِهِ الْبَيْعَةَ، وَلِوَلَدِهِ الْمَهْدِيِّ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ، وَلِعِيسَى بْنِ مُوسَى مِنْ بَعْدِهِمَا، وَجَاءَ الْأُمَرَاءُ وَالْخَوَاصُّ فَبَايَعُوا وَجَعَلُوا يُقَبِّلُونَ يَدَ الْمَنْصُورِ وَيَدَ ابْنِهِ الْمَهْدِيِّ، وَيَلْمَسُونَ يَدَ عِيسَى بْنِ مُوسَى، وَيُشِيرُونَ بِالتَّقْبِيلِ إِلَيْهَا وَلَا يُقَبِّلُونَهَا.
Translation
✧ Ibn Jarīr said: In it (the year 151 AH) al-Manṣūr renewed the oath of allegiance to himself, to his son al-Mahdī after him, and to ʿĪsā b. Mūsā after them. The commanders and the elite came and pledged allegiance, and they began kissing the hand of al-Manṣūr and the hand of his son al-Mahdī, while they touched the hand of ʿĪsā b. Mūsā, gesturing toward it with a kiss but not kissing it.
