Then the year 149 AH began
وَفِيهَا اسْتَتَمَّ الْمَنْصُورُ بِنَاءَ سُورِ بَغْدَاذَ وَخَنْدَقِهَا، وَفَرَغَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ أُمُورِهَا ، وَسَارَ إِلَى حَدِيثَةِ الْمَوْصِلِ ثُمَّ عَادَ.
Translation
✧ In this year al-Manṣūr completed the construction of the wall of Baghdādh and its moat, and finished all of its affairs, then he travelled to Ḥadīthat al-Mawṣil, then returned.
