Then the Year 133 AH Began
وَفِيهَا قُتِلَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْمُهَلَّبِ بِالْمَوْصِلِ، قَتَلَهُ سُلَيْمَانُ الَّذِي يُقَالُ لَهُ الْأَسْوَدُ بِأَمَانٍ كَتَبَهُ لَهُ.
Translation
✧ In it ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Yazīd b. al-Muhallab was killed at al-Mawṣil. Sulaymān, the one called al-Aswad, killed him despite a guarantee of safety he had written for him.
