قَالَ ابْنُ جَرِيرٍ: وَحَجَّ بِالنَّاسِ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، وَقَدْ أَظْهَرَ خَارِجِيٌّ التَّحْكِيمَ بِمِنًى فَقُتِلَ عِنْدَ الْجَمْرَةِ. وَكَانَ عَلَى الْبَصْرَةِ وَالْكُوفَةِ لَهُ أَخُوهُ مُصْعَبٌ، وَعَلَى قَضَاءِ الْكُوفَةِ شُرَيْحٌ، وَعَلَى قَضَاءِ الْبَصْرَةِ هِشَامُ بْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ، وَعَلَى خُرَاسَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ خَازِمٍ.
Translation
✧ Ibn Jarīr said: In this year ʿAbd Allāh b. al-Zubayr led the people in the pilgrimage. A Khārijite proclaimed arbitration at Minā and was killed near the Jamrah. Over al-Baṣrah and al-Kūfah for him was his brother Muṣʿab; over the judiciary of al-Kūfah was Shurayḥ; over the judiciary of al-Baṣrah was Hishām b. Hubayrah; and over Khurāsān was ʿAbd Allāh b. Khāzim.
