Arrival of the delegation of Banū Ḥanīfah with Musaylimah the liar, and mention of the false prophets
[ حَدِيثُ الرَّسُولِ عَنْ الدَّجَّالِينَ ] قَالَ ابْنُ إسْحَاقَ: وَحَدَّثَنِي مَنْ لَا أَتَّهِمُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ ثَلَاثُونَ دَجَّالًا، كُلُّهُمْ يَدَّعِي النُّبُوَّةَ.
Translation
✧ [ The Messenger’s ḥadīth about the false claimants ] Ibn Isḥāq said: Someone I do not suspect narrated to me from Abū Hurayrah that he said: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: The Hour will not come until thirty deceivers emerge, all of them claiming prophethood.
