Translation
✧ The supplication of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he looked down upon Khaybar Ibn Isḥāq narrated from Abū Mughīth b. ʿAmr ؓ—and it is with a dotted ghayn and a three-pointed thāʾ according to Ibn Isḥāq, and with an undotted, fatḥah ʿayn, then a doubled tāʾ above, then a bāʾ according to al-Amīr—and Muḥammad b. ʿUmar narrated from his shaykhs; they said: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked down upon Khaybar, he said to his companions: “Stop,” so they stopped. Then he said: “O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and what they shade, Lord of the seven earths and what they bear, Lord of the devils and what they have led astray, Lord of the winds and what they scatter, we ask You for the good of this village and the good of its people, and we seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what is in it. Advance in the name of Allah.” He used to say this for every village he intended to enter. Al-Nasāʾī and Ibn Ḥibbān narrated it from Ṣuhayb.
