The Expedition of al-Khandaq (the Confederates)
Translation
✧ Ibn ʿAsākir narrated from ʿUbayd Allāh b. Abī Burdah who said: Umm ʿĀmir al-Ashhalīyah sent a wooden bowl containing ḥays to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was in his tent with Umm Salamah. Umm Salamah ate what she needed, then he went out with the bowl, and the announcer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called to his dinner. The people of the trench ate until they had their fill from it, and it was still as it was.
