The Expedition of Dhat al-Riqa'
وَكَانَ سَبَبُهَا، أَنَّ قَادِمًا قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ بِجَلَبٍ لَهُ، فَأَخْبَرَ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّ أَنْمَارًا وَثَعْلَبَةَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَهُمُ الْجُمُوعَ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ.
Translation
✧ Its cause was that a newcomer came to Madinah with merchandise he had brought, and he informed the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that Anmār and Thaʿlabah had gathered forces against them. This reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
