The story of Salih (peace and blessings be upon him)

Translation

✧ Imam Aḥmad said with his chain of transmission, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās, who said: When the Prophet ﷺ passed through the valley of ʿUsfān during the Ḥajj, he said: “O Abū Bakr, which valley is this?” He said: “The valley of ʿUsfān.” He said: “Hūd and Ṣāliḥ (peace be upon them both) passed through it on red camels whose reins were of palm fiber, their lower garments were cloaks, and their outer garments were striped mantles, reciting the talbiyah as they made the Ḥajj to the Ancient House.” A ḥasan chain of transmission.
