✧ I traveled with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a military expedition. He stood to pray, and I had a burdah (garment). I went to cross its ends, then I fastened it so it would not fall. Then I came to the left side of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he took my hand and turned me around until he stood me on his right. Then Ibn Sakhr came and stood on his left, and he took both of us by his hands until he stood us behind him. He said: And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ kept glancing at me while I was unaware, then I noticed it, and he gestured to me to wrap it as a waistcloth. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished, he said: “O Jabir.” I said: “At your service, O Messenger of Allah.” He said: “If it is wide, cross its ends; and if it is narrow, tie it around your waist.” “This is sahih according to Muslim’s criterion, but they did not include it.” according to Muslim's condition
