✧ Regarding His saying, exalted is He, {This is a Day they will not speak} [al-Mursalat:35], and {You hear nothing but a whisper} and {And they will approach one another, questioning each other} [al-Saffat:27], and {Here, read my record!}—what is this? He said, "Woe to you! Have you asked anyone about this before me?" He said, "No." He said, "Indeed, if you had asked, you would have perished. Did not Allah, blessed and exalted, say, {And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count} [al-Hajj:47]?" He said, "Yes." "And for every measure of a day of these days, there is a color of these colors."
