حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْفَقِيهُ بِبَغْدَادَ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَمَّالُ ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَا ثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ حَكِيمِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى ثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ بَهْزَ بْنَ حَكِيمِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيْنَ تَأْمُرُنِي؟ خِرْ لِي قَالَ فَنَحَا بِيَدِهِ نَحْوَ الشَّامِ فَقَالَ «إِنَّكُمْ مَحْشُورُونَ رِجَالًا وَرُكْبَانًا وَتُجَرُّونَ عَلَى وُجُوهِكُمْ هَا هُنَا» وَنَحَا بِيَدِهِ

✧ I said, "O Messenger of Allah, where do you command me to go?" He swept his hand towards Sham (Syria) and said, "Indeed, you will be gathered as men on foot and on mounts, being dragged on your faces, here." And he swept his hand with it.
