✧ We were with 'Abd Allah b. 'Amr b. al-'As when he was asked, "Which of the two cities will be conquered first, Constantinople or Rome?" He called for a box, Tuhum (meaning an old, worn box), took out a book from it, looked into it, then said, "We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ writing down what he said when he was asked, 'Which of the two cities will be conquered first, Constantinople or Rome?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The city of Heraclius will be conquered first'—meaning Constantinople."
