✧ Uthman b. Affan narrated a parable for fitnah. He said, "The parable of fitnah is like a group of three who accompanied each other on a journey. They traveled at night and came together to a fork of three roads. One of them said, 'To the right,' and took the right and lost the way. The other said, 'To the left,' and took the left and lost the way. The third said, 'I will stay in my place until morning,' and took the road and reached morning and took the road."
