حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ التِّنِّيسِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ الْقَاضِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَاتِكَةِ ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ
«إِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْمَلَاحِمُ خَرَجَ بَعْثٌ مِنَ الْمَوَالِي مِنْ دِمَشْقَ هُمْ أَكْرَمُ الْعَرَبِ فَرَسًا وَأَجْوَدُهُ سِلَاحًا يُؤَيِّدُ اللَّهُ بِهُمُ الدِّينَ»
