✧ On the night the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was taken on the Night Journey, he met Ibrahim, Musa, and Isa (peace be upon them). They began with Ibrahim and asked him about the Hour, but he had no knowledge of it. Then they asked Musa, but he had no knowledge of it. Then they referred the matter to Isa, and he said, “Allah covenanted with me regarding what is before its occurrence; as for its occurrence, none knows it except Allah ﷻ.” Then he mentioned the emergence of the Dajjal: “I will descend and kill him. Then the people will return to their lands, and Yajuj and Majuj will come upon them, and they will descend from every elevation. They will not pass by any water but they will drink it, nor by anything but they will corrupt it. Then they will cry out to me, and I will call upon Allah, and He will send the sky with water, and it will carry them and cast their bodies into the sea. Then the mountains will be blown away, and the earth will be stretched out like the stretching of leather. And Allah covenanted with me that when the Hour comes upon people, it will be like a pregnant woman who is due: her family does not know when it will come upon them with its birth, whether at night or by day.” Al-Awwam said: I found the confirmation of that in the Book of Allah ﷻ, then he recited: {Until when Yajuj and Majuj are let loose, and they descend from every elevation, and the true promise has drawn near.} [Al-Anbiya’ 97]
