The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "A man called the Sufyani will emerge in the depths of Damascus, and most of those who follow him will be from Kalb. He will kill until he rips open the bellies of women and kills children. Qays will rally against them, but he will kill them until not even the end of a ravine is defended." "A man from my household will emerge in al-Harrah, and news of him will reach the Sufyani. He will send against him a contingent of his army, but the man will defeat them. The Sufyani and those with him will then march against him until, when they reach a desert plain, the earth will swallow them. None of them will survive except the one who reports what happened to them."
