حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ الْحَافِظُ ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الدِّرْهَمِيُّ ثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ

لَمَّا بَايَعَ مُعَاوِيَةُ لِابْنِهِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ مَرْوَانُ سُنَّةُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ سُنَّةُ هِرَقْلَ وَقَيْصَرَ فَقَالَ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فِيكَ {وَالَّذِي قَالَ لِوَالِدَيْهِ أُفٍّ لَكُمَا} [الأحقاف 17] الْآيَةَ قَالَ فَبَلَغَ عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ كَذَبَ وَاللَّهِ مَا هُوَ بِهِ وَلَكِنْ «رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَعَنَ أَبَا مَرْوَانَ وَمَرْوَانُ فِي صُلْبِهِ» فَمَرْوَانُ قَصَصٌ مِنْ لَعْنَةِ اللَّهِ ﷻ

✧ When Muawiyah pledged allegiance to his son Yazid, Marwan said: "It is the Sunnah of Abu Bakr and Umar." Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Bakr said: "It is the Sunnah of Heraclius and Caesar." He said: "Allah revealed about you: {And the one who says to his parents, 'Uff to you...'} [Al-Ahqaf: 17] to the end of the verse." He said: It reached Aisha, and she said: "He lied, by Allah; it is not about him. But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the father of Marwan while Marwan was in his loins. So Marwan is a portion of the curse of Allah, Exalted is He."

  • «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ» فيه انقطاع
