machine translationIt is a hadith narrated by ʿAwn b. ʿUmārah, and there is disagreement concerning him. Sulaymān b. ʿAbd al-Jabbār said, from ʿAwn, who said: ʿAbdullāh b. al-Muthannā narrated to us, from Thumāmah b. ʿAbdullāh b. Anas, from Abū Qatādah. But al-Ramādī contradicted him and said: ʿAwn b. ʿUmārah narrated to us, who said: ʿAbdullāh b. al-Muthannā narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather, from Anas, from Abū Qatādah. And none of that is sound (ṣaḥīḥ).
