✧ You will make a secure peace with the Romans, then you and they will campaign together against an enemy beyond them, and you will be victorious, take spoils, and return, until you camp at a meadow with hills. Then a man from the Romans will say, 'The cross has prevailed,' and a man from the Muslims will say, 'Rather, Allah has prevailed.' They will exchange these words between them. Then a Muslim will rise against their cross while they are not far from him and smash it; the Romans will rise against the one who smashed their cross and kill him; the Muslims will rise to their weapons and be killed. Allah ﷻ will honor that band of Muslims with martyrdom. The Romans will say to their leader: 'We have sufficed you against the might of the Arabs.' Then they will betray and gather for the great battle. They will come to you under eighty banners, under each banner twelve thousand.
