حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْبَجَلِيُّ ثَنَا عَفَّانُ ثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ثَنَا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ أَدْفَعُ الزِّحَامَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ فَاحْتَبَسْتُ عَنْهُ أَيَّامًا فَقَالَ مَا حَبَسَكَ؟ قُلْتُ الْحُمَّى فَقَالَ

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ»
