أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَاضِي بِمَرْوَ ثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ وَيَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَزْهَرَ قَالَ
أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِشَارِبٍ فَقَالَ «قُومُوا إِلَيْهِ فَاضْرِبُوهُ» فَقَامُوا إِلَيْهِ فَخَفَقُوهُ بِنِعَالِهِمْ

✧ A drunkard was brought to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, “Rise to him and strike him.” So they rose to him and struck him with their sandals.
