حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ

«هَيْهَاتَ هَيْهَاتَ أَيْنَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ إِنَّمَا كَانَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ يَتَوَارَثُونَ دُونَ الْأَعْرَابِ» فَنَزَلَتْ {وَأُولُو الْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَى بِبَعْضٍ}

✧ Far from it, far from it! Where is Ibn Mas'ud? The emigrants used to inherit from one another to the exclusion of the desert Arabs. Then it was revealed: {And those of kin are nearer to one another in the decree of Allah}.
