✧ Jarir b. ʿAbd Allah entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while his companions were with him, and every man was reluctant to give up his seat. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took his cloak and threw it to him, and he received it with his chest and face, kissed it, placed it over his eyes, and said: "May Allah honor you as you have honored me." Then he placed it on the back of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, when a nobleman of a people comes to him, let him honor him."
