✧ A bearer of good news came to the Prophet ﷺ to give him glad tidings of the victory of some of his cavalry while his head was in ʿA'isha's lap. He stood up and fell prostrating to Allah, the Exalted. When he finished, he began questioning the messenger, who told him, and among what he told him was the affair of the enemy. A woman had been in charge of them, so the Prophet ﷺ said: "Men are ruined when they obey women."
