حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ ثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ
كَانَ إِذَا أَمْطَرَتِ السَّمَاءُ حَسَرَ ثَوْبَهُ عَنْ ظَهْرِهِ حَتَّى يُصِيبَهُ الْمَطَرُ فَقِيلَ لَهُ لِمَ تَصْنَعُ هَذَا؟ قَالَ «إِنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِ ﷻ»

✧ When the sky rained, he would uncover his garment from his back so that the rain would fall on him. It was said to him, "Why do you do this?" He said, "Indeed it is recently from its Lord, Mighty and Exalted."
