✧ I was the seventh of seven with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on his journey. The time of sacrifice overtook us, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered us, and each man among us contributed a dirham. We bought a sacrificial animal for seven dirhams and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we have been extravagant with it." He said, "The best of sacrificial animals are the most expensive and the fattest." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered us: one man took a leg, another a leg, another a hand, another a hand, another a horn, and another a horn, and the seventh slaughtered it, and they all said the takbir over it together. 'Uthman b. Zufar is reliable.
