✧ "The Prophet ﷺ described the treatment for impotence as drinking the melted fat of a female Arab sheep. It should be neither too young nor too old, and it should be divided into three parts, with one part consumed on an empty stomach every day." Anas said, "I have described this to three hundred people, and Allah Almighty has cured all of them." This hadith was narrated by Habib bin Ash-Shahid from Anas bin Sirin from Anas bin Malik."

machine translationHe was asked about the hadith of al-Anṣārī Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh, from Hishām b. Ḥassān, from Muḥammad b. Sīrīn, from Anas, from the Prophet ﷺ, concerning sciatica (ʿirq al-nasā). He said: This is an error (wahm). It was narrated by al-Walīd b. Muslim, from Hishām b. Ḥassān, from Anas b. Sīrīn, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of God ﷺ said. He said: This is a mistake with this chain. The hadith is what Ḥammād b. Salamah narrated, from Anas b. Sīrīn, from his brother Maʿbad b. Sīrīn, from a man of the Anṣār, from the Prophet ﷺ. My father said: And this is more sound (aṣaḥḥ).
